Telemedicine is a term that denotes use of information technology and telecommunication to offer healthcare from a distance (Poultney, Maeder, & Basilakis, 2015). Telemedicine is essential today since it has been used to various barriers to adequate health care for instance distance thus significantly improving access to medical services. As at 2015, the telemedicine market was valued at USD 17, 878 and research show that this market is growing remarkably annually. Telemedicine is essential in various medical areas for example radiology, the control of diabetes, cardiology, genetics, and psychiatry (Agboola, Hale, Masters, Kvedar, & Jethwani, 2014).
